Choose a route that fits your group

Use the designated visitor routes and follow the instructions in place when you arrive. Ask locally where shoes must be removed and keep a bag available to carry them. Wet surfaces need care, so avoid treating the visit as a race to reproduce a photograph.
Do not build expectations around a particular pool being full, a whole slope being accessible or conditions matching a promotional picture. Conditions and permitted access can differ. The aim is to enjoy the landscape as it is during your visit.
Do you need an overnight stay?
The answer depends on where you are coming from and where you go next. A day excursion may suit a traveller who accepts a long road day. An overnight nearby can make it easier to separate the visit from the intercity journey and leave room for a slower start.

Check the inclusions before paying
Ask for a written list of admissions and optional activities. If a thermal-pool experience is important to you, have the operator confirm its current availability and any additional charge; a mention in an older itinerary is not enough. Keep that activity separate from the core heritage visit.
