Day-by-day itinerary idea
- Day 01
Arrive at İzmir airport and transfer to your hotel. Introduce the historical setting of Smyrna with an optional orientation walk if arrival time permits. Overnight in İzmir.
- Day 02
After breakfast, travel to Pergamum (Bergama) for the archaeological sites and Red Basilica where accessible. Continue through Thyatira (Akhisar), allowing a guide-led context stop. Overnight in Salihli.
- Day 03
Visit Sardis and Philadelphia (Alaşehir) before continuing toward Denizli. Explore Laodicea and, if daylight allows, a first look at Pamukkale. Overnight in Pamukkale or Denizli.
- Day 04
Begin with Hierapolis and the open travertine paths at Pamukkale, then drive to Ephesus. Focus the afternoon on the archaeological city; adjust the order if seasonal opening hours require it. Overnight in Kuşadası or Selçuk.
- Day 05
After breakfast, optionally visit the Basilica of St John and allow time for lunch before your transfer to İzmir airport. The visit depends on the confirmed departure time. No overnight.
