Day-by-day itinerary idea
- Day 01
Begin in İzmir with Smyrna context, then travel to Pergamum (Bergama). Explore the ancient city and, if open, the Red Basilica. Continue through Thyatira (Akhisar). Overnight in Salihli.
- Day 02
Visit Sardis and Philadelphia (Alaşehir), pausing for lunch and discussion. Continue to Laodicea; allow time for a short Pamukkale viewpoint or Hierapolis visit if feasible. Overnight in Pamukkale or Denizli.
- Day 03
After breakfast, travel west to Ephesus. Walk the archaeological city at a comfortable pace with a guide and lunch break; choose an optional Selçuk heritage stop if time and access permit. Overnight in Kuşadası or Selçuk.
- Day 04
After breakfast, use the morning for the Basilica of St John or a quiet Aegean stop according to flight time. Transfer to İzmir airport for the confirmed onward journey. No overnight.
